CORTNEY ANN COE On Saturday, April 29, 2000 Cortney Ann Coe passed away suddenly and peacefully at home. Cortney was born in Winnipeg on September 7, 1978 and attended school at Sacre Coeur, Varennes, Jeanne Sauve and Dakota. She worked in various service positions most recently at Sorrentos on Ellice. Cortney is survived by her parents and step parents Bill (Julita) and Judy (Geo Guertin). She also leaves to mourn her three sisters; Amanda, Angie and Yvonne along with a large extended family of grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins and close friends beyond counting. Cortney was an accomplished artist and poet and her works will be cherished by her survivors. Cortney was a great visitor and partier and will be missed by her friends and customers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Addictions Foundation, Crohns and Colitis Foundation or Cortneys pet charity, The Winnipeg Humane Society. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 4 at 1:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (across from the Royal Canadian Mint) with cremation to follow. Service will terminate in the chapel. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Lawn Reception Centre.
